WHERE IS JEWISH UTAH?

Utah's Jewish community has long lived far and wide across the state. There have been active communities in Ogden, Park City, and Salt Lake City since the mid-1800s. From 1911-1915, two hundred Jewish families farmed on the agricultural colony of Clarion, Sanpete County. There were Jews who traveled the territory with John C. Fremont as he surveyed the land for potential railroad route development. Explore this map to find some of the locations of Utah's Jewish past. More locations coming as we continue to do research.
